Default Island Classic, March 14 and 15

Hi Kids,

A reminder this weekend is the Island Classic. Glen Seton is the patron, there's Group A's, C's, under 3litre tourers, over 3lters, Forumal Fords, Formula 5000 etc.... a gaggle of cars and a petrol filled weekend! (and a loooong drive Saturday night to a certain club members' engagement party in Geelong!!!) : :eclipsee_
I have literally a couple of spots available for Saturday and Sunday.
When: Saturday March 14th- Sunday March 15th

Where: Phillip Island Circuit

Contact: Karyn
Time: 8am Saturday, and 7:30am Sunday, Mcdonalds/BP Service Centre, cnr of Dandenong Hastings rd and Thompsons rd, Cranbourne.

Well... Day 1.
It started out not too bad, and within half an hour it "persisted" down. A porsche rolling halted racing for some time, and then due to the rain, all track activites were halted until 1pm. The Group A's and c's struggled in the wet, so you can image the "fun " open wheelers had.

The real thing....

Thanks GBG!!! Yes, the supposed "Engagement Party" was actually the Wedding!!! The hardest bit for the last 2 or so months was trying not to let the cat out of the bag!!!
We ended up having a fantastic, laid-back night - no formalities at all!!! Heaps of booze, heaps of food, and a heap of great people....

And yes, for all those that ask......No, Bathurst won't disappear off my calendar!!!!! Tania mentioned in her vows that she won't get in the way of the trek to the Mountain with the boys!!! : :
