Ok, so does anyone know if the roof curve of the AU is the same or close to that of the BA/BF's? the reason I ask is i'm looking to purchase a roof console from www.consoles.com.au and they don't have an AU sedan one. It will replace the sunglasses holder and map light one that comes stock with the AU's. anyone able to help out?
Cheers P.S yes i have asked consoles.com.au and their not 100% sure them selves

No. The roof of the BAAF's are slightly flatter. Therefore a roof console out of say an AUIII XR, will not fit a BAAF.

What if you tried modding one off the AU ute?
I'm not saying it won't be entirely impossible to fit a BAAF one into the AU, but seeing most of the roofline contour is the same on the ute, that might be a bit easier to fiddle with.
