Anyone got any ideas on why some people can use WLM but others cant

On mine it looks like the blokes in melbourne and QLD have theirs workin, and the ones from round here dont :S

Mine is up and working and I also just went and deleted a whole lot 'o spam from my Hotmail account a few minutes ago.
Maybe the server you authenticate to is down...? Not sure how Hotmail/messenger works in the backend. |

There are huge errors. I'm only getting 2 contacts appearing online and I'm appearing offline.
There are heaps of threads about it on Whirlpool.net.au

The page that i log onto hotmail looks different in some way dunno if its just me. Firefox comes up with untrusted connection.
Ive tried my old e-mail account no go either Stop press- MSN now working as is hotmail

Yup. Hotmail now open. They must authenticate regionally as I'm also having a conversation on MSN and all the people I expect to see online in my contact list are all there.

Yep they do indeed, great for communicating, better yet if you dont use social networking sites.

Yeah but facebook chat you can only chat to your friends.
I remember in the late 90's/early 2000's, I used to search for chics in Adelaide to chat to on ICQ, was great for hookups unless you got the prudes lol!!!
