Default MC Titanium headlights

will ZC Titanium projector headlights plug into ZC Zetec and work?
Are the projector style any better than halogen?

I'll have to look at the wiring diagrams to be sure if they are plug and play but projectors are usually a decent upgrade on halogens. I know the FG XR6 (halogen) to FGII XR6 (projector) needs an adaptor wiring loom to make it work but that's mostly because the FG had a combined high/low beam + a high beam whereas the FGII has only a low + high with both staying on when in high beam.

The headlamp wiring diagram identifies a number of pins that are unique to '345' (high series) variants but the two lamps share common components other than the 'active' cornering lamps of the projectors although they are in physically different locations on the two lamps. The connector is a 14 pin but with only 12 used so perhaps check yours to see if you have all 12 wires.
You won't have the adaptive headlamp module so the cornering lamps will be in a fixed position and the other adaptive functions won't work but that shouldn't cause an issue as the GEM won't be expecting to get errors without it there.
For more detail go and have a look at the MB Mondeo lighting wiring schematics in our technical portal as they are the same options. Diagrams 417-01-3 & 4 are for the normal headlamps and 417-01-5 & 6 are for projector or HID lamps.
