has anyone used this stuff?
is it good...does it fade...in other words is it like the real thing as if the thing was originally black? where do i get it from and how much and whats it called? incase your wondering i found some parts with the stitching on it but theyre all grey and i want black FalconSR

Dude , I Know you Can Buy VHT Colour Dye from AutoBarn , i 'THINK' it does Vynyl ,, Dont hold me to that but yeah , thats the Stuff VHT Colour Dye !

They will eventually wear, if you constantly rub them & etc. Or lay your arm on it. But if you don't touch, or that much, it should last a good 5-10 years, before you need to re-do it.
You can get stuff professionally dyed. Which comes out better than the VHT can stuff. But the can is probably just as good. Falkeen did it to his Futura, and 4 years later, it looked, just like the day after he finished it.

Is this sort of thing suitable for painting the steering wheel plastic centre cover black? Mine's a kind of real dark grey and it looks stupid with the black leather around the wheel. Other Fairlanes with Momo wheels appear like this as well.

Yes, you can paint your airbag cover, with this stuff. Just in 5 or so years time, you might need to re-do it. To cover up, where it has worn a bit. But, on the other side, it may never wear. It depends how much you use it, and how hard you rub it. It's pretty good stuff.
romaniac got his airbag cover professionaly dyed. Suits his wheel & looks good!
