Hey there kids!
Haven't been around here for a while! Just so happens that i picked myself up a nice shiny set of XR5 Turbo wheels off eBay tonight (to: my adversary.. not from here were you?) anywho, my question is a double barrelled one: firstly, some good tyres. The conti's it comes with from the factory? the rims are bare at the moment... secondly, some springs. nothing huuuuge in the way of a drop, maybe only another 10mm on the Zetec springs. i certainly don't want to have to cop out for a camber kit because i was silly and put superlows on. how is everyone btw? Uni/. EDIT: will post pics on Friday morning after i go collect them. watch this space. |

well get yourself a set of the XR5 springs, which i think you can pick up off www.fordxr5turbo.com
and in tyres. the conties for the XR5T are about 500 a tyre.. try Toyo's, michelin, bridgstone as well.

yeah, at the moment im thinking eibachs or XR5T springs, but im not sure what to do about shocks.. i fired an email to Whiteline and a bloke there got back to me saying they were no longer doing a handling pack and the shock/spring/coilover work had been put back to start some more worthwhile R&D

If anyone replaces their springs for XR5 units or something I'll take the standards.

I saw a LT Ghia with XR5 alloys at a local dealer so I'm pretty sure they fit with no probs
