This may sound rather silly, but have you tried getting fuel from a different brand? Because I had no end of trouble when purchasing it from certain vendors.
Other than that, theres the mandatory check of Air-flow sensors, oxygen sensors, etc. |

You didn't mention plugs or leads. How old are they?

Have you checked your fuel system to make sure it isn't bleeding down and draining back into the tank. If you have no fuel it won't go till the system has a chance to get fuel up to injectors again.

Try priming the system by turning the key off and on a couple of times befre starting. Success with that method would indicate fuel leakdown as Bushbasher mentioned, which is what it sounds like to me.

Agree with mongrelEF and bushbasher
Had a bloke who couldnt get his car started, diagnosed it by squirting some start you barstard right into intake and it fired up for that brief second, then we knew it was fuel, so pulled pump out of tank and the hose that connects pump to the outlets of the tank had a split in it.. its like getting a straw and blowing through it with ur finger over the end a bit then cutting a small hole in the middle of the straw and trying to do that same thing.. not saying thats ur exact problem but wont be to far off |
