Hi guys,
I am looking for an au xr8 in blueprint ( detail in cars wanted). I have all way liked that Colour. It's got me thinking what's people's favorite au XR colour? What suits the shape the best? |

Hi all,
As follows; AU1 - Oxford Green or Winter White AU2 - Venom Red or Winter White AU3 - Blueprint or Winter White As you can see i love AU XR8's in Winter White, sad that as alot were police vehicles. Just my 2c. Zlcrazy

I love the white ones because they look beautifully understated, like a sleeper with a beautiful bodykit.
For me its White first in any of the series', then Blueprint and then Narooma Blue. Congo Green's not too bad either. What I like the least is the Liquid Silver. The most impractical colour must go to Silouette if were talkin dailies.

so true its very easy to destroy a colour by overproducing it like the tiger mica on the vt ss looked great then every pov pack ended up with it and lost its appeal

I have a soft spot for white, never owned one in an AU but have had black & red in S2 & S3 xr8's but very happy with my current Blueprint xr. I rarely see an xr8 ute in Blueprint that's not a pursuit.

1) Congo Green
2) Blueprint 3) Liquid Silver (biased as I have one, even though it's not an XR)

i really liked the charcol as wel. pretty rare in an XR. and the silver looked rad to. well to be honest all colors looked good. but red always faded. and black is impossible to keep clean. i didn't like the midnight blue. but i really wanted blueprint. |
