Hey guys, just want to get an idea about what age group is a Mondeo. So if you don't mind, post your age.
I will start of course, I am 29.

My friend who looks to be getting an XR5T (mind you I'm trying to get her to buy a XR6T) is 23yo.
Also when I was looking for a car for my folks the fact that the mondeo only had 4 cyl put them off, they're in their early 60's. |

This is great, such a diverse age group. I wasn't sure who the Mondeo would appeal to, but we got LRsedan who is 23 with an XR5 all the way to 67 with ajay1940. Also looks like the XR5 is the clear winner, followed by the TCDi and then Katoomba and me with our little old Zetec's.
So Katoomba, you came from a V8 Falcon, how do you find the little old 4 in the Zetec. I came from a V6 and obviously there is a differance. But not much in my eyes. It still is quick.

I've had a lot of V8s since my first (a 302 Fairlane ZD in '71 or was it '72?) but I really don't have an urge for another one. |

Thinking about organising a get together with other new model Mondeo owners in Brissie. I know the TheColonel is from Brisbane. Anyone else?

However, I still own a 2000 Laser which in many ways gives me more peace of mind than the Mondeo e.g. Laser tyres $70, Mondeo minimum $250 (from what I've seen so far). And all those electronic things - lots more to go wrong and probably going to cost a motza to get fixed. |
