Default 98 GLX Mondeo Central Locking Problem

Hi all, trying to trouble shoot a problem with my central locking on a 98 GLX Ford Mondeo. The central locking works fine for 3 doors but 1 door (front passenger) does not work at all. The drivers door opens fine and sounds fine. The rear doors open but sound like the central locking is at half power. The front passengers door does not open at all, not even when you manually use the handle.

Does anyone have any ideas on the cause of this?

Sorry, I am not clear on what you mean. Are you saying you cannot unlock the front passenger door at all? Like the lock has seized? Can you manually unlock from inside, then open the door? Can you use the key on the front passenger door to unlock from outside?

I think first isolate whether it is a physical lock mechanism issue, vs connection issue. Have you taken the door trim off to have a look? perhaps it is just a case of plugging/hooking something back in.

The door does not open at all. The key turns in the lock and does nothing. The hand will move but will do nothing.
