Perfect rondeo! mine is due in ~2K kms. (keep to 100K kms personally)
Last belt purchase I have on my records was from Autobarn - Bosch 6PK1840 for $25 - 20/09/14 Dayco were $43 at the time. This is the original belt that came with the vehicle @ 120K kms if anyone wanted to know the OE belt.

Thanks, I wondered what the OEM belt was branded. Saw a belt at Supercheap branded Calibre, noticed manufactured by Gates on the cardboard. Maybe FoMoCo is too. I see Motorcraft branded Ford belts on the web.
As shown your photo below, EPDM is the rubber used. EPDM replaced neoprene at some point, and is now always used, I Google. The EPDM belt is said to wear without as much sign of cracking etc as previously, so it's hard to tell the condition just by looking. There is a free gauge available on request from Gates, which is supposed to give an indication of a worn belt. There's no service interval specified in the owner's manual but Gates suggests 150000 km. Mine's done close to 200000 so will change when doing the timing belt. Haynes specifies 200000 km. Cheers |

That OE belt was sad looking on the other side, which why it were the first item I replaced when I got home from buying the car. Was happy to find the Bosch $25 jobbie after autobarn sold me the Dayco belt which were to long, he grabbed it without looking at what he grabbed and neither did I lol.
I figure for $25 and 100,000k I've gotten my monies worth out of it and have no problem replacing it even if it can go longer. Makes me wonder why the OE was looking sad after 120K kms.

Is $67.99 for Penrite DCT Fluid - Full Synthetic, 4 Litre a good deal?
I'm almost at 60k and last DCT service was at 31k.
