It will run fine on E10. Personally I try and avoid the stuff though and only use 95 or 98.

quite a few threads on this, generally the opinion is to stick with 95 and 98.

I used to have an old commodore that I ran E10 through, sounded horrible and loud, ran rough as guts, the minute I switched to 95 it was MUCH quiter and more responsive.

I have tried the E10 on my standard 6 forte and found that my fuel consumption went up, I thought this was a bit strange so I switched back to unleaded for a while then tried the E10 again, same as before fuel consumption went up.

so it was back to unleaded again.

Yes it will run. But don't, it's worse value for money.

I think E10 fuel is crap-on my bikes and cars I only use good 98 octane fuel.

It's fine to run E10, give it a go and see what economy you get out of it though as some cars get much worse on E10.

I've been running E10 for a few years now, and running a 98 octane tune, exhaust and intake mods. Runs great. Was fine when stock as well.
Fuel consumption is almost identical, but heaps cheaper than premium.
As RG said, try it !

When i had 'the AUthority' (my white AU1) i tried several different blends of fuel. Economy went like this (best to worst):
BP 95/98 (equal first)
all other brands of different types of 95 or 98 premium, they didn't seem to change
standard non-ethanol 91ron unleaded
95-ron e10 from united or freedom
all other types of 91ron E10

A tie for first place for value for money was the standard non-e10 91 and the 95ron E10. Marginal increase in consumption with the 95ron E10 but marginally cheaper over std 91.
Best value for money for a power fuel was BP 95, could not tell a single difference between BP 95 and 98 (ultimate) except it was 6cpl dearer.

Im from W.A, and we dont get E10.

Whats the fuel price for E10?

Do people use it because its cheaper, or because its more environmentally friendly??

its 3 cents cheaper per litre, being honest with you I don't think people really give a toss if its "greener" or not

nah, 95-ron e10 is not very common. the vast majority of ethanol fuel in bris is 91 e10 which is a joke and should be avoided. CONTEXT MATE CONTEXT
