I suspect this one is a photochop;) It looks alright. I don't know about the Crewman looking ute though. Cheers

as soon as the ve was released i wondered if they were going to make a ute and what it would look like. when i first seen them on the road i thought they were quite ugly. they've slowly grown on me. the ute looks ok... not sure about the crewman looks a bit funny.

the tray is tiny in all those chops and in the 2 with the scenery behind them you can see a where it has been cut and shut. Probably not far off what it will look like though

The second picture looks awesome! Nice and sporty. Someone obviously likes the extra cabin space in the Falcons

Thats definetely chopped... look how far back the fuel filler is on the first pic.. the utes are closer to the cabin, where it sits looks like where it sits on a sedan!

You can see that they are Photoshops. There is a line through the middle of the Background in the second and third images.
Not a fan anyway. If they were real, they would be pointless as anything other than a passenger carrying car. The tray couldn't even hold an Esky.

Obviously they have taken the crewman design, from the Ford concept ute that was at the motor show a few years ago, with the rear suicide doors.

What about the watermark on the first one that says 'CGI' suggests it wasnt a photochop?

I like the GTS wagon !
Ford don't give me a V8 wagon, T3 will be garaged V8 wagon next possibly. By the way the SSUte looks great too.

CGI is "Geary"s trademark, I think hes a member here. He is the one who has the chop that Drive is about to publish of Orion. His is pretty good he has actually seen the real car. His VE chops were the closest anybody got pre spy shots. Take a look here, scroll down to the Holdens and check out his other attempts, you will see some of the stuff that drive published as well as many others he has done. http://www.cgiautomotive.com/ Heres his Orion chop. He has blurred it and reduced the resolution so it doesn't give too much away (I suspect he wouldn't get paid if he released the render before he sold it to Drive). Note is is a base spec car and Geary has said himself the glasshouse isn't perfect (a little too big)m but as soon as his exams (hes 17) are finished he will fix it. |
