My rear left power window on the XR8 has not worked for about 12 months. Today the left front power window was struggling to get up to the closed position as well. I decided to book her in at an auto electricians and whilst driving her on the same day the rear left started to work again. Went straight home and silicone lubed the lot. Hope that's all it was. The window switches probably need to be pulled apart to clean the points. Very easy to do, and they all need it done!

get contact cleaner, and pull the switches apart.. give the contact points a roughen up with a small flat blade as well. and silicon spray on the runners does wonders ;) |
