Greetings all
I'm a newbie and hoping someone can help me out in regard to the sat nav system fitted standard to the AU LTD series 2. I'm planning on retro-fitting this system into my series 1 LTD but am having dramas trying to locate the correct unit. I have been told it is a VDO Dayton MS5000...does anyone know if this is correct? I have been in contact with Ford and they can only supply me with obsolete part numbers, although apparently still available from vendor. When I asked who the vendor is,they had no idea and couldn't even tell me if it was VDO Does anyone know the model number of this system? |

Cheers mate,
Tried ALS but they only work with BA up. Nobody seems to know anything about AU/Fords first sat nav aussie option I rang VDO Australia and even they are vague and the tech 'expert' seems to only be available when he feels like it! Don't get me started on Ford Australia customer relations |

as far as I know they are linked to the audio system and the S1 audio is not compatible with a S2 or 3 so you might have dramas getting it to work
