Default Ones got to go

Well, Ive collected too many cars.
Ive got the..

XB 302 wagon
XC 250 wagon
Near mint XE 250 that will be my daily,
XB panelvan with a mild 250 pre X,
Just purchaced Tarago (4 kids in the XC is a bit squishy every day)
01 Frontera 4x4
Toyota Coaster bus ( ex project, selling)

My problem is Im not sure what to get rid of, id keep them all but were looking at buying a house in the next 6 to 12 months and cant really afford to be spending money on them all.

yeah, thinking similar. the XC got us from Adelaide to Brissie and back, so we got to know it very well ( kids have even named it Penny, lol).

The 302 would be nice in the XB van, would i be devaluing the XB wagon by taking the nos. matching V8 out though? or being a falcon 500 it wont make any difference (rest of the car isn't original)

I've got the same problem. Too many cars and in my case sick of storage and paying rego and insurance. I made my decision around lifestyle. I like getting out into the bush so am keeping my 4x4, and I like sports cars so am keeping the convertible sports car. The muscle cars are a bit redundant for me now so are being sold. Love the sound of a V8 but not enough to pay $3000 a year to sit in a shed and get driven once or twice a year.

If it were me picking from your list I'd keep the tarago for the wife, XE for the daily, and 4x4 for a toy.

Bummer. Hard decision.. But an XB 302 wagon. They would be as fair as rocking horse crap these days??
Keep the older Fords and sell the Frontera and the Coaster.
The 2 XB's, the XC and the Mint XE are all rare cars nowadays. If the XC 250 isn't that original and you're not as fond of it as you are of the others, that's probably the one to let go (in the older lot anyway)

Shame you can't keep them all. If you have to get rid of them, I hope they get picked up by another enthusiast who can give them a good home like you were able to.

Don't say that, lol. I think Im addicted to looking for cars, first thing I do when Im on the net is look on Gumtree, Ebay and Facebook for cars.

We live in a rented farmhouse atm but are looking to buy a house in the Mt Gambier area in the next year, we may rent first though and that could be a problem with the cars.

I get all keen to sell one then go fire it up and go for a spin, want to keep it

Tuff call,
But,you need money for a house, that is if its your main priority
So selling some to excell in lifes financial gain, well we all have done that sometime
I would keep the ones that the whole family can get in, legally, family high priority as well, then go from there
As for matching numbered this n that, dont let that bother you, built or use the parts/cars you have build something quickly, and unload the surplus
