Default wheels for racing

well the EA is booked in for the drags in april and i was just wondering what wheels i should use to race? atm iv got 17" AMG qaukes with Maxxix radial tyers. should i just slap stockies on? cheers

you want as much grip as you can get...... wheelspin is baaad when you're trying to get to the other end as quick as possible...

some stockies with GOOD grippy tyres on them is what you need...

or leave your current wheels on it

If you have a pair of 15" stockies, get them fitted with some second hand 225's, and run around 20psi in them. Low profile tyres aren't as good for taking off.

I use 15" rims with good condition 215/60 G'Grids. They provide heaps more grip than my 235 17" Falkens.
