Yep ,I agree.How can you play a Melbourne game plan or style against Melbourne players .Slater,Smith,Inglis,and Folau a few years ago.Slater would be at fullback calling the NSW plays and organising the defence.
My team would be :
Hayne,Morris,Morris,Jennings,Lawrence,Campese,Pear ce,Lewis,Gallen,Mason,Learoyd Lars,Farah,Waterhouse - Bird , Gidley,O donnell,White.

Lawrence and Jennings could swap if need be same as Mason and Waterhouse. I have no doubt if Mason was picked he would lift ,same as Gallen,Bird and O Donnell. Plenty of mongrel ,and Lars was NSW best player in my view last game with Waterhouse not far behind him.
Kimmorley although a great competitor in my eyes was a yard too slow in everything he did.These games are a lot quicker than club footy and your key players have to be sharp.I left Ennis out and Watmough as they bleed too many penalties.You cannot give repeat sets at Origin level .
