Its a nice package Ill give them that...but Holden are prone to building cars without a great business case for them. This one is ok though, simply using existing parts to create a "new" model...its very smart and not rocket science.

Do you need rocket science to build a Holden

That list has no more to it than what a G6ET has, except being a wagon. $20,000 extra is a lot of money for it.

Wow you get bigger brakes and 19' wheels they will sell. Im sure Ford have a business case for something similar........NOT, i highly doubt there is a market for them. So what your saying for more money you will buy a calais wagon over an R8 Tourer?

LOL, HSV E3 Wagon is cheaper!!!

Gee, i wonder which one id go for? hmmm... 260kw of AFM crippled performance or 317kw of the real thing....

That said the F6X or TTG would have offered similar performance to the USS Redline Hatch... and we know how that finished..

Definetly dealer mark-up. Isn't the Calias-V wagon 63k + 1.5k for Redline?

I was looking at the magazine ad for this Holden are running, pushes the whole "FE3" suspension package, then in the small pring "FE3 suspension package only available on Redline Sedan".

So for the wagon and ute you're paying more, for less. And is it really $73K? That has to be a typo, there is no way someone would be colossally stupid enough to buy it for that sticker price?

I'd rather Ford built a proper wagon, that Holden thing is only half a wagon

A Territory Turbo dumped would be more useful.

If people want them (market research) and they don't go on a limb fiscally to deliver why is that not a smart strategy?>

not so long ago 45 grand for a car was big money. people in the city have families, and they also have money. not everyone does but professionals do, tradies generally do, and if theres nothing to combat it and its what they need, they are gonna buy it. if holden sells 15 cars thats pretty close to 1 million dollars.

and if they dont sell, they have a runout and slash the prices, and still walk away with a profit. like a supermarket.

if theres no competition, name your price.

show of hands who will stump up 50k for a wagon, let alone 70k.

where's brazen?? isn't this his baby?

If I drove home in that Calais V 'Redline' Edition Sportswagon and told anyone with half a brain that I paid 73k for it I would be the laughing stock of Australia (not to mention the entire Holden Dealership laughing at me as I drove off).

Still a massive rip off.
And that V6 SIDI whatever; it's so underpowered and weak it would struggle to pull a hobo off your sister.
Honestly, how can they even mention the word "Sports" when that complete waste of good metal is under the bonnet?

This thing will go the way of the Adventura and other brain snaps from Holden.
