Anyone know of someone who will transport an F150 from western victoria and drop off at coloundra on the Sunshine Coast? Everyone I've spoken too is charging $2500 or won't touch it because its over 5m long.

No luck with Toll or Patrick Autocare?....
Due to it's size I'd reckon it's gonna' cost regardless.....for that sort of money you could drive the bloody thing up there and still have change for an airfare home.... Most cost effective way would probably be to get onto one of the transport co's and send it up on the back of a semi?....

I sold the F150 on eBay as pick up only. A guy in qld outbid everyone but didn't bother to check transport costs before bidding. Got a panicked call today saying he'd tried everyone. I rang around a couple to try and help him out without any luck. A couple of those mentioned above I haven't tried so will give them a go tomorrow. Although I'm tempted to just tell him the deal is off and thank him for wasting my time and money. I'm not happy with the price I sold it for anyway, it was a steal.

Resell it to someone who reads the fine print.
Sounds like he thought 'what a bargain' then realised the extra $ involved |

Is it roadworthy/registered? I remember coming across a site a few years ago by a bloke who would drive trucks cross country for owners as long as they paid his travel expenses and a fee per day. I'll see if I can track it down...

Longline towing mate, they bought my dodge power wagon from the Gold Coast to vic for a hell of a lot less than that and it's well over 5m long. They have a Facebook page you can find them on, speak to Dougie or PM me for details.

Toll, Patricks or CEVA - they would be the only ones I would go with.

Is it driveable ? I'll get the father in law to bring it up. He is a retired truck driver and he'll get a holiday out of it when he gets here. Win Win !!
