Falcon 1 - TX5 nil (PIC'S)

3rd pic is a bit dodgy because i only had my phone on me so to put it on the computer i had to take a photo of my phone with my camera lol

some &**^%$$##^*&(&*&*^&%$##@ (lady) ran a red light this morning. (for those who know it was at the cnr of henry lawson dr and hume hwy @ lansvale in sydney) i was on my way to work anyway pulled up @ the lights (i was heading north on henry lawson about to cross the hume to go onto woodville rd. anyway i was at the line, light went green i took off and 2-3 seconds later BANG! was i ****sed. anyway her light would have been red for atleast 3 seconds (ie it was red when she crossed her line and not orange and just turned red when she went through) she was turning right against me to head west on the hume hwy. did a massive 180 in the middle of the intersection lol so i could catch up with her. (sorry no pics of the smoke show : ) her car was stuffed lol left front door, bottom sill and middle pillar, my car is the front bar, crossmember, left front gaurd and left headlights : plus it pulls to the left : i called the police because the law is (or so i thought) if there is more than $500 damage you have to call them, now the law is if no car has to be towed (from the acco) and no one is hurt its a matter of change deatails and fend for yourself. (you have a police hotline number to call and report it)(thanks mrs &^%*^@#, i will now have a nice new freshly painted bar : )

so off it went on a tilt tray tonight.

That's bad luck, but to be honest, green means go if it's safe, not just go. Doesn't sound like it was safe. Still, because she ran a red, she will be at fault, and you will have learnt a lesson for free.

lol i probly should have added that there was a kenworth double next to me so i couldnt see through him............

I hate that intersection. Is it still called the Mechano set ??? I used to live at Holsworthy & worked at Hunters Hill & various other suburbs. I always tryed to avoid it like the plague ......

thing is, specially on intersections like that, they get an organge light for a LONG time, then it's red for quite some time before the other side goes green.

so think about it, she could have been driving at least 5 seconds of the light being completely red before she even got near you.

so how you would even know she was coming from there truck or no truck is extremely hard to say.

i just hope you get your car sorted and the stupid woman pays every last cent

yes its the mechano set, thanks for that, i dont like it either lol

SGTBOURNE: yes your right, even at smaller intersections, the lanes coming towards you go green and that right turn goes red before you get a green, so yes it would have been 5 seconds.

yer your right, all the damage was casued by her, i mean i just took off from the lights so i was doing 10-15ks maybe?? she was doing about 40, so yer that would be a serious acco

dont want to be a pain but same happened to me and the other person said i was at fault(lied)and as there was no witnesses i had to pay my own excess to get it fixed. :
