Default Holden Forum - Not For Me!

Hey guys. A workmate of mine is restoring a HQ 350 Monaro to concourse and is struggling for some info. Is there a Holden equiv to our Forum (won't be as good of course)!

Also his chassis is non genuine. These early Holdens the entire front chassis unbolted. Apparently export statesman came out with unstamped chassis. You could also buy an unstamped chassis from holden in the day for crash repairs. He is looking for one of these to rechassis his and stamp to correct numbers.

cheers

Wasn't like here where you get heaps of info from guys that have played with the things your asking about, before the guys come in that can tell you how to rip it apart backwards, give you links on how to make it better, tell you the best person to PM on that question, and definately put you at ease if you aren't sure what your doing.

Now thats what i like about this forum :

Yes you could buy the new front chassis new, the idea was that the origonal number was then to be stamped on them. The same went for early crumpledoors on the panel that held the radiator in place.
Best place to try would be the rod shop, rare spares. I'm sure they are not in production any more.
