I'll go with sedans.
Utes are nice and all, but I like my sedans. BTW Is this a general question, or just for Fords? |

I perfer utes due to the rear end setup being more suitable to drag racing.

For me, I like the practicality of a sedan. I have never owned a UTE, and until I have my mid life crisis, wake up one morning and have a sudden urge to do Carpentary, then I won't have the need for one. My Wife has a HatchBack Mazda6 at the moment, and my other car is a Sedan as well. I tow a boat with the Territory, but the Mazda is so fuel efficient that it has had a stay of execution in terms of lifetime. The other reason that I like Sedans so much is the fact that they have storage room behind the driver, and that they have a boot (not a cover over the storage area) where you can hide anything and not worry about things being stolen. Just IMHO, not anything else.

I prefer the look of utes. Have owned a few, always miss them, but sedan is more practical and handles heaps better, not to mention lighter!

Sedan, Wagon then Ute for me.
A clapped out wagon (ie XF), is probably about the most practical vehicle in existance, especially if you dont really car about it too much.

I'd have to say sedans, cause utes don't have a back seat, and my car is usually quite the taxi

I love them both but I think that utes are the winner for me. Nothing beats a full on B&S ute for looks and strength.

I love the look of a ute, but I love the look of a sedan just as much, and for me, practicality (in my situation) wins out. If I was a trade-person I'd definately love to own a nice V8 work ute, but alas, I got declared a workshop hazzard in grade 12 and that path was never for me :

Good old wagon or panelvan does the trick for me.. Utes are nice though.
The wagon's a good mix. |
