I am sure it has come up on here before but a good reminder for anyone planning to do a VIN check is only use the governments ppsr for $2 unless you thoroughly check the provider is legitimate.
We unfortunately used another site that looked very professional with a claimed one dollar report only to find they provide a report with no reference number. 2 days later the credit card has an international charge for $1.50 and then a second charge $47.50. I have already contacted the bank, but I want to warn other members on here just how easy it is to get scammed. |
