I have an MC Mondeo and have difficulty reading the text on the central audio display screen during the day. Does anyone know if the brightness can be increased?

I am pretty sure you can adjust the "brightness" of the display by turning either the front or rear fog lamps switch. Sorry not sure which one, but one adjust the headlamps and one does the display.

The small knob on the right of the headlight switch which is the rear foggies.
Turn it clockwise and the display gets brighter with the dash lights.

Don't forget that if the headlights are set to 'auto-on' or just plain 'on', as is available in MB XR5, then the display is auto dimmed for 'night' driving.

Thanks for the replies, but the brightness is a little dull during daytime.
