When I lost my license for D.U.I, I had to reset my learners written test and do the practical driving test again. Also had to go to the doctor to get a blood test - for alcohol dependency. I didn't have to go back on my p's though. Its like you are doing your whole licence again - but the funny thing is - you still keep the demerit points you accumulated. :togo: :togo: :togo: This is for W.A.

You could just garage it and wait till your licenced sufficiently then drive it? I know it's a wait n all but you could get a bike or small car till then. Tut tut drink driving

i wouldn't be too worried mate. a bog stock six these days (b series onward) will have it over your xr8 in every department, except maybe sound.
going back to when there were no restrictions or conditions on getting your licence and what you can drive, you were still req to do 6 - 12 months on 'p' plates after being suspended. things have changed a lot since then though. |

To clear the air, if you are on the OLD SYSTEM (not having to display P plates, no restrictions on cars) and are under 25, if you lose your licence in court you go on PROBATION for 12 months (11pm-5am driving ban, 4 points, no restrictions on cars). How do I know, I'm on probation now

I think your best bet is to contact the respective issuer of your license and take it from there.
As obviously stated many times in this thread, try to keep the sms lingo off the forums
