Stolen Car Only Thread

This thread is for members to post up cars that have been stolen, it will remain sticky.
If you wish to add a car to this thread we recommend you post a picture of the car in question.
Also would advise posting rego number, vin number, car color, State, where the car was taken from and any other distinctive features that would help identify the car.
For this thread to work, we want to keep chat to a minimum so please only post if you have info about a car that has been posted in here.

Not sure of where the car was stolen from, think around sydney, nsw.

The car was stolen from Springvale a few weeks before christmas and the Burned out SHELL was discovered BARE in mornington the engine was still intact but nothing else was there

There is a Reward for any information leading to me finding out who did it. so if you know anyone who has turned up with a whole bunch of EF Monty parts please let me know

XC Cobra #162 was stolen Saturday night 27th January from Lower Plenty in Victoria, this vehicle has SAAS front seats trimmed in original Cobra style material.

351 auto, power steer, power windows, factory globes.

1988 extra cab 4 door. rego GD 7374 air bagged, rims with lots of custom stuff. See attached photo.

Also taken was a custom Car trailer, Silver with Blue Stick on Signwriting. It containing a generator, tools, and other gear.

If you could also send vehicle details to any other contacts that you have would also be appreciated. Any details can be kept confidential if required.

XF ford falcon was stolen on the 19th of February from thirroul train station parking lot. White spac, 1985 auto with brand new 12 slotters on it. Gearbox is rooted and clunks till it gets into 3rd. Plates read "AD97NI". Any info would be good, as the items that were inside the car were also important, not that ill have much luck getting them back. My mate just sold his XF to another mate but it got stolen from blackwood last night.

Its a white XF Spack with 4 speed manual.

Hi all, I was asked if I could post this here since I am a member and the other person isn't. Yeah they could have joined themselves but we all know how people jump on newbies posting things like this without a post count.

Hopefully someone will be able to help find this car. Fingers crossed anyway.

A White XB Falcon GT Sedan has been stolen from a factory unit in Welshpool, Western Australia over the weekend. It has black trim and Dragway wheels.

Chassis No. JG33 PA56939 and Sido of 587205

If you hear anything can you get in touch with the Falcon GT Club of WA or the West Australian Police

If you have any questions, post them up or send them via PM and I will ask for you. Otherwise contact the club mentioned above and I'm sure someone there will be able to answer anything you might wish to know.

Hi all
Just wanted to alert those in Brisbane that my boss had his truck stolen from outside of work today.

It is a 1977 Landcruiser (Tray) with a 351 motor. The plates are OMG 101

Where: Westfield Strathpine

When: Tuesday 15th May (between 9am and 3pm)

Stolen this afternoon at 4.00pm from Malaga in Perth.
Rego is 1CKT-265.
Blueprint in colour and has leather seats.
Momo wheel and gearknob.

Was stolen by an Aboriginal who was very quick and very lucky not to have been caught as the boss saw him reversing it out of the carpark and couldn't get to him in time to stop him !!!

Any info please call the Police or ph the owner on 0400-364366 and he will remove the culprit...........permanently !!!

EA was stolen between midnight and 4am, from corner of queen and lonsdale st in CBD MELBOURNE on the 07/07/07 ....

Reg: FDK221
Colour: Gold
Rear right passenger door pressed in from hit and run.
At the time, the car had 2x tickford xr8 rims on the front, and 2x black stockies on the rear. also FORD sticker on the back, large monster tacho on dash.

This is just a general Thread in search of my beloved Gold XD wagon. It was stolen on Monday 17th from Hervey Bay, later that afternoon it had done a drive through at the Morayfield Service Station on the Bruce Highway. I just had all the engine work completed and put in a Sports dash and Sports steering wheel, also the the rear guards have just had the metal replaced the repairs have not been finished no primer just welded on and bogged over. I was about to get the rego transfered to QLD as it still has the Vic plates on it SOJ236. There are stickers on the rear window that make it stand out. 1) I (heart) my farcan ford 2) Kiss my *** 3) Tickle this Holden Boy (with a picture of elmo) Please I have a feeling she is heading to Victoria and need to get the word out to find her, Life is not the same without my Ford. The police don't do anything if the car is insured, they just tell me I have to wait for a ramdom licence plate check to pick up that it is stolen. My XD Wagon was stolen from Hervey Bay's Marina on the 17th of Feb, it had done a drive through at the Morayfield service station on the Bruce Highway at around 4.30 that afternoon.
What makes my car stand out from the rest :
Stickers on the rear window.
1) Kiss my ***
2) I (heart) love my farcan ford
3) Tickle this holden boy (Elmo)
The car itself is gold, black carseat covers with gold gecko's, 2 inch lowered, 245's on the back and 225's on the front - 12 slotter rims and even the spare which sits in the rear window on the drivers side. Roof racks, and the rear guards have just had the lower sections replaced, not yet sanded back or painted.
I think she is on her way to Melbourne as the plates are Victorian, SOJ 236.
Engine No. JG31WL41138C. Has the original 3.3 motor and is Duel fuel.
I am willing to pay a reward for her return, I just want my car back unharmed.

Just to let you all know that my Gold XD Wagon was recovered.
I had gone into the police station to cancel the rego when the officer told me that my car had been recovered 5 days earlier (why was I not told, who knows). What happen to her : My grandsons car seat missing, 12 slotters, stereo and amp were removed, she was left on the side of the road sitting on 3 dodgy wheels and full of rubbish, it is still unknown if the engine will start. She is on her way back home and will arrive on Sunday.
To anyone that has a car stolen my advice apart from putting in as much security as possible if you do get it back so it doesn't happen again (Lock nuts are not worth wasting your money on). Also make sure you hound the police, had I kept ringing them (don't wait for them to call you) I would have found out sooner that it had been recovered, I have lost 5 days of precious time and my hire car goes back on Tuesday and I have 2 days to see if my always reliable ford will be running so I can get to work.
I have to admit I was one of the lucky ones, not to have it burnt out or smashed up. The insurance is paying me out and I get to keep her at my own expense of getting her towed home from Redcliffe to Hervey Bay and buying her back from the insurance company.
I will post pictures of her as soon as I can so you can all see why I love my farcan ford.

Your id says you are from Melbourne, yet from reading your story I'm assuming that the car was stolen in Queensland.

If your car was recovered in Queensland, it is the Queensland coppers responsibility to contact you.

If you walked into a Police Station in another state, they would have checked your reg and discovered it was recovered thereby telling you.

In Victoria, the first point of call at a stolen vehicle recovery is contact the owner. Whether it be 3am or whenever, we'll wake you up. We need to know what you want us to do with the car. If it gets towed it is at your expense. If you want us to secure it as much as we can and leave it with the possibility of being re-stolen, that's your call.
