Just a query, Focus MP3 rims (17") will fit a Fez ok yes? I have heard stories of Ford denying them as an option and telling owners to go with the 16" versions instead.
On mine I am running 215/40 profile tyres, I am assuming these would be ok on a Fez too? TIA.

I have heard of it done, buthaven't done it myself. I have a spare set of MP3 rims in my garage that I was going to test fit to Lotsy's Fiesta but we ran out of time modding her car.
I'll try it sometime if no-one can give you a definitive answer, if Lotsy's over anytime soon. I think Ford's problem with the setup was that the tyres need to be a 35 or 40 profile on 17 inch rubber - if you're running 40 profile on your Focus, that's pretty thin and I'd suggest your speedo is out, because 45 is the factory approved profile for 17 inch rims on a Focus. How do the 15" tyre sizes compare between the two cars? Does the Fiesta run a smaller diameter tyre?

The Fiesta 15" tyres are a 195/50R15 where the foci's are 195/60R15, a bit taller.

That would look good. Focus Zetec 16's run a 50 profile.

going on the std fiesta tyre being 195/50/R15
Speeds of other tyre sizes should be: Optional Fiesta 16's 195/45/R16 = 101km/h or 1.0% over Others 215/40/R16 = 100.4km/h or 0.4% over 205/40/R17 = 103.4km/h or 3.4% over 215/40/R17 = 104.8km/h or 4.8% over 205/35/R17 = 099.0km/h or 0.1% under 215/35/R17 = 101.1km/h or 1.1% over 205/30/R18 = 100.7km/h or 0.7% over 215/35/R18 = 101.8km/h or 1.8% over |

The focus 7 spoke wheels like the ones below do fit the fiesta.
http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/picture...l_pic_8492.jpg The focus ST170 wheels also fit. :P Just dont put 215/40/R17 rubbers on em. |

The rims in the photo you posted appear to be the optional 16 inch Fiesta rims, as seen here on Teki04's car, from making the photo light to look at the tyre details on the tyre wall, and looking at the size of the rim compared to the guard:
However, I do reckon it's possible. I have a spare set of the 17 inch MP3 rims in question sitting in my garage, I just need a Fiesta to try them on! Tim |

I'd say that's a pretty easy one!
No Fiesta comes out standard (or optional) with 17 inch wheels so I bet they are not listed on the Fiesta tyre placard (found on every vehicle), and therefore dealers won't sell the Fiesta with a factory Ford rim that is outside the vehicle tyre placard specifications. Tim |
