Default Brake tick Annoying me!!!

I have had a ticking sound when i lightly apply the brake for a few months now. I have changed both discs and pads and its probably worse than before. Has anyone experienced this?. Even whilst driving it seems the pads are floating about, front and rear, going over bumps etc. (rechecked them and put anti squeel, no luck) Front left is by far the worst. Any help would be great.

cheers jordan

you could run around the ends of the pads with a center punch(on the metal part), swelling the ends of the brake pad backing plate, effectively making them longer to take up any excessive clearance, i have also seen some blokes use some high temp silicon on the back of the pads(not on the friction material side) to help alleviate rattling pads.

With my sons Tickfords I had to make the clips tight so they didn't rattle. Never had any issues with my AU since I changed to slotted rotors.
