you will get a low 15 sec pass, he'll get a high 15 sec pass. You'll get close to 90mph, he'll get around 85mph.
Those are my edumucated guesses |

Lol... my stock NF V8 did 17.441 @ 78.87MPH... They are a slug off the line, and they don't make up for it anywhere in the rev range... Sounded good though :P
I would expect a mid 16 from it with a good run, as I had crap tyres, 68L of fuel on board and a dying cat convertor... I got raped by near stock e-series I6's lol In other words, you'll ream your brother...

yeh ill have to try explain this to him... i talked him into the ford thing AND e-series luckily, when he found out this fairlane was for sale and it was only 4k, i advised him to buy it....and its low k's and V8, luxury at a good price...but i still say i love the performance you can gather from these I6's, my whole thing is id rather turbo mine but not sure if i wanna part with the money for a good/reliable setup.... only thing i can think of is keep N/A and get some 4480's, not a whole lot more i can do for N/A (that i know of) hmmmm....

A stock I6 EL Falcon would beat a stock NF V8 Fairlane just from the extra weight the LWB carrys.
With those engine mods you've done you'll easily thrash your brother.

fairlane has a different diff ratio than the falcon same
even if they were both falcons 1-i6 and 1-v8 recon you should still get him but on longer track 100k+ recon the falcon v8 legs would kick in and thats when he'd round ya still give me the eight and id prefer the fairlane at that to

i hate questions like this - just take it to the drag strip and see how you go. There are always cars that perform better than stock, even though they are stock. Drag him, and then post the results.
