I'd say one of the 7's isn't meant to be there. It's not possible for that car to have 2.7 million kilometres on it. It would've had to do 300-400 kms every day of it's life.

Unless it does a few treks around Aus every year, I'd say it's a typo aswell.

I own Taxi's, FORDS of course! I have had 3 do 1.2 mill within 6yrs and 1 do 1.6 in the same time frame. These cars work hard every day of their life and have all passed roadworthy inspection before I give them away to kids who deserve and appreciate them as their first car. One young fella still has one of the 1.2 mil cars, now has wheels , exhaust, lowered, looks real good and he is as happy as xxxx with it.

I believe that it is 276,825 kilometres. A taxi-vehicle is driven for 12 hours everyday. A Ford Laser? No...I don't think so. Typo. |

either way for $250 the buyer didnt get that much of a bargain.
i bought one of those little beauties a couple of years ago for $150 with 214000km. immaculate interior, new tyres and one spot of rust. it cost a whole $8 in parts to get it into RWC, then of course the RWC itself and rego. it just wouldnt die and we gave it some grief too. |

Taxis run on gas, have separate engine, gearbox and diff and are seldom cool. Lasers have it all in one blob and cost a fortune to rebuild. I have owned several, some from new and driven them until they were uneconomical to repair. The bets was a bit over 300,000 and it was STUFFED. |
