I'd say one of the 7's isn't meant to be there. It's not possible for that car to have 2.7 million kilometres on it. It would've had to do 300-400 kms every day of it's life.

Unless it does a few treks around Aus every year, I'd say it's a typo aswell.

I own Taxi's, FORDS of course! I have had 3 do 1.2 mill within 6yrs and 1 do 1.6 in the same time frame. These cars work hard every day of their life and have all passed roadworthy inspection before I give them away to kids who deserve and appreciate them as their first car. One young fella still has one of the 1.2 mil cars, now has wheels , exhaust, lowered, looks real good and he is as happy as xxxx with it.

2,776,825

I believe that it is 276,825 kilometres.

A taxi-vehicle is driven for 12 hours everyday. A Ford Laser? No...I don't think so.

Typo.

A little gem of a car that has a few more kilometres in it yet..just needs a bit of loving
Tells me its not a typo, why would you say that if its done 276,825? I know a lot more cars that have done more than that, and considering the age and the condition of it... I dont think its a typo.

either way for $250 the buyer didnt get that much of a bargain.
i bought one of those little beauties a couple of years ago for $150 with 214000km.
immaculate interior, new tyres and one spot of rust.
it cost a whole $8 in parts to get it into RWC, then of course the RWC itself and rego.
it just wouldnt die and we gave it some grief too.

Do you know of any laser/meteors that have done more than 500k?

Taxis run on gas, have separate engine, gearbox and diff and are seldom cool.
Lasers have it all in one blob and cost a fortune to rebuild. I have owned several, some from new and driven them until they were uneconomical to repair. The bets was a bit over 300,000 and it was STUFFED.
