Exclamation bottom ball joint

can anyone tell me the best way to remove bottom ball joint on au series 3

You mean split it or remove it ?

They are pressed in, so you'll (well, at least I had to) remove the lower control arm then had a mate pressed them out.

I made my own tool to remove it but easiest way is to remove arm and borrow a press.

I can't help you there, but I did just recently buy upper and lower ball joints for the whole front from Bayford Parts for $118 delivered and Pedders installed them for $187. Did the front hub bearings at the same time and the car is so smooth now.

there shoudl be a flat part on one side give it a firm hit with a hammer (rubber is better) and it shoudl pop out thats what pedders told me to do to mine when i had to fix mine and it worked, i have a series 1 tho, not sure if it works the same. make sure the top ball joint is undone and removed breofre doing it tho if not its a pain
