Hey guys
Anyone put snow chains on stock zetec wheels? I know the manual says steelies only..but anyone had success? Driving to perisher on the weekend. Or anyone in Sydney got stock LX steelies I could borrow for say a case or two? =D |

ive got steelies altho all the rubber is worn out, dont know if there any good to you.

Yeah I'll be putting some gaffa tape on the rims to prevent scratches. I found a set of snow chains that should fit the 195/45R16, I'll try it out. I think the problem is that there's little clearance between the inside of the tyre and the suspension components, the ones I found require a 10mm clearance. Had a stickbeak under the car and it looks like it should be okay. I'll see how it goes anyhow.

ohh well has rubber, well they look like slicks now :P lol, edge crusher i also wonder how as they were only on my car for 2 weeks :S hmm what could be the problem ? :P anyone want clips ? hhahahahaha.....
