Picked up some Castrol Magnatec 10W40 and Transmax z.

Anyone know the size of the hex socket for the drain plug on the transmission?

Cheers

I use penrite HPR10 in my AUII XR8. Somebody else I know uses penrite HPR5.

Which one is the best is a matter of personal choice I suppose.

Thanks for the reply I think I put HPR10 in it last time but the car was hardly driven while it was in, still looked in decent nick when it came out.

3/8" from a very poor memory...

Penrite HPR5 in my late Whingers, and as the dude above said HPR10 is ok too.
Penrite 70-75 or 75-80 in the box goes good.

Royal Purple, Synchromax for the gear box, highly recommend this oil.

Penrite 70w-75 works well. It's designed for boxes like T5 and T56 that originaly speced ATF.

Transmax Z is also a good choice
