Default RIP Christine McVie

Sadly one of Fleetwood Mac's best has passed away.
An accomplished musician, a great singer and songwriter, she was responsible for some of Mac's best songs.

Rest in Peace Chrissy.

Was listening to the BBC on the HF radio last night when they announced it, extremely sad news indeed.

Fleetwood Mac are part of my growing up, there music was/is always around me, Christine's songs always trigger memories of that particular period in my life, where I was, who I was with and what I was doing all come flooding back when I hear her music......

RIP Christine, thanks for the memories, you will be dearly missed.

Was upsetting to hear... I love the Mac also, moreso Peter Green period but McVie was there before Stevie and lindsay arrived and morphed the band.
Would not have been an easy gig through all those years, married,, then separated, to John, while still touring and making great music, sometimes about the very awkward life it was.
RIP

RIP Chrisie, I can't believe she was 79. I am a real fan of Fleetwood Mac.

Great voice.
Will have to put my Rumours album on tomorrow and crank up Songbird.

Her songs were the only ones I like, her voice was also the finest in the band.
Don't particularly think much of the others in the band.

Saw them perform at Calder raceway with Santana a loooong time ago.

So sad, she had a wonderful voice that defined the 70's & 80's. My spine tingles when I hear her sing.
RIP Christine and thanks for the joy you brought.

Hi Guy's
was very sad when i heard the news about Christine McVie passing away.
I wasnt really a fleetwood Mac fan until i heard her sing what a great voce Christine McVie had.

They must have one hell of a super group up there in Heaven.

As realists know, there is no such place as heaven. Its just part part of the old religious fairy tale, but if there was such a place there would be one greater than great band.

That is exactly what I think and that's what I posted.
