It’s the fourth or so of these which I’ve known to fail. Efficiency of lubrication or hot running clearances seem to be the crux of problems.

This afternoon I had a look under the motor, it’s got a rod sticking through the driver’s side of the sump. Hmm… Does anyone here have experience with/of these engines? They seem expensive as second hand units go.

A Barra won’t fit BTW - too long.
