Hi ford nuts,
Have any/many of you had experience transporting a car that is on a trolley? My xy shell is on a four wheeled box trolley (best way to describe it) and I need to move house in a week. Will tow truck drivers take it? I can strap the car to the trolly pretty tight but I'm not sure how they will secure the trolly to the flat bed? If you've done this or have any suggestions it would be much appreciated.

Seen it done with a XP sedan arriving at a "Project Alley" display for the NQ Ford vs Holden Day last year; sawhorses under the sills and some tie down straps around the B pillars - pics below;

If the driver feels it's secured sufficiently to the stand then he would move it no problems, they have straps and chains to secure loads

WOW such a Bizzarre feeling to see a pic of my XP on here. I recently sold it and it went 400kms on the back of a car trailer still on the rotisserie
Those saw horses are a must to stop any flex

Hey guys,
Thanks for the info. That stand looks awesome. Can't wait to be at that point. I'll get some extra strong tie downs and go from there. Dan
