My factory stereo just suddenly decided to stop producing sound I have power to the head unit and it plays tape, but no sound from any speakers. Is there a fuse for the speakers??. As I had some work done on my car where they had to readjust the door lock.

If there is power at the headunit, but not sound, it wont be a fuse. Sounds like you will be in need of a new headunit.

You sure the "mute" button hasn't been pressed accidentally?
