Default what E-series ford I6 will beat a VN V6 auto?

as you can tell, which E- series falcon will beat a VN? my mate has one and loves to go on about how good they are, how it does high 7's to 100ks, how its faster than every falcon untill BA.
so im on a mission, i know that VN's are actually suprisingly quick, but i heard EA Spacs 5spd manuals are pretty quick aswell.
so what do you guys reckon? i hope it doesnt come down to EF xr6's to finish the job.

yeah an EA 5 speed manual MPFI with a 2.5" exhuast and extractors should give them a good run for the money.

EA manuals can do high 15s. EB XR6 recorded 15.6 in Wheels(i think) and was supposed to be the quickest ozzy car of its day. Not sure on VN specs but can't be anything that good.

A VN would do a high 15 low 16. To me they're still Holden's answer to the Titanic and I'm sure the Buick V6, could be dropped into the ocean in 7 seconds, because they're a boat anchor.

yeah i know its a VN, but i just want to shut my mate up.
i know he can beat an EF fairmont with it, but they dont have xr6 motors, it weighs more and are autos so that makes sense.

so your saying there as fast as a new falcon 190kw?
come on some one must have real evidence as to what they can pull?

Who cares what they ran in 1988. VNs will have long rattled 50 kilos of random parts off and EAs will be 20 kilos lighter from constant decking of the head. 250,000 kms later and the engine would be lucky to make three quarters what it made from factory.

Vn's are pretty quick, a manual ea, eb or ed will take care of that. The Vn's weight about 1359kg while the falcons are over 200kg heavier depending on the model. My mate has a vn calais, its very quick! He always gives me a scare with my eb v8. They will crap all over on you at the line, though i manage to make some ground at about 70-80km and i clearly pass him by a car length at the 100km. Mind you eb v8 monts are around 1600kg. So any manual falcon should take care of your mates vn, but it will still beat a stock falcon on the line. Damm lightweight, fast 1st gear auto's.
