Somebody out there must know who makes the BA/BF door trims for ford. I am chasing the Door spears in the Wood grain pattern but you have to buy the whole door trim to get it. It would have to be a big company and someone must know someone that knows something.

They will be OEM only supply, so unless some one on the inside of that company can get them for you, it's not going to happen. Have you tried the wreckers like FTG (site sponsor) they do post.

It would probably be that big plastics company at broadmeadows on the ford site. They do most of their plastics there.

Probably Venture
In the building just north of Ford on the Hume Highway Was part of Ford until split off into a separate entity Delivery dashboard assemblies etc straight to the production using ILVS Can't think of another OEM that would do the trims |

I can remember seeing some Ford interior parts at Hook Plastics when I visited there a few years back... It was mainly dash stuff though. Could be worth a look perhaps?

Venture mould the interior door panel and some other bits that go on it, buy in anything they don't make, put it all together and supply it to Ford as an assembly.
They may mould the spear, but I don't think that they do the woodgraining. Either way, the wood grained spears go through Ventures hands. Don't really like your chances of buying them from Venture. Most suppliers would have signed agreements with Ford preventing them from selling components made from tooling that Ford owns, or where Ford owns the design or intellectual property. |

yes Geoffa is right, Venture mould the spears, they are covered with the woodgrain by a 2nd teir supplier, then it goes back through venture and assembled with the door trim, which is then delivered to ford
futuris make door trims for holden, as well as headliners and some other stuff, they also make all the seating for holden and ford. but yeah the chances of buying something direct from venture is about 1/10th of all |

Yep, definitely Venture Corp make the door trims...just had a look at my spare Futura ones. I tried to buy the silver spears off the Fairlane G220 door trims but had no luck : . If you're handy with some tools, you could probably make your own if you could find a similar woodgrain panel...cheers Linz.

Places like dashboard doctor and dashboard centre can coat any bit of alloy or steel or plastic to look how you want. They are amazing we have used many time as work and looks the goods. You could then make you own bits to coat.
If you really want genuine, go to the wreckers and keep hunting.
