Default Recommended Mechanic in Melbourne (Eastern Suburbs)

Hi guys and girls!

I Have to find a new mechanic due to my previous one closing down and it's hard to find a good mechanic so thought I'd ask if anyone could recommend me one who takes great pride in the work which is done and takes the time to explain things, and is most importantly is honest!

Something around Croydon would be ideal though.

Thank you!

I go to CNG Automotive in Knoxfield. Even on my most recent visit (almost 11 months since my last time there), Grant (manager) still remembered me and my car. To me, stuff like this matters (a bit of customer service never hurt anybody).

Doesn't charge an arm and a leg, and is a 'genuine' bloke. Always explains everything through to make sure you understand if required.

I'd recommend them to anybody.

Just my $0.02!! Good luck in your search mate!

Call Stu at Basin Auto, 9720 9518, he's a great mechanic, very honest and is very thorough. I've used him for the last three years and can't fault his work. He's also a real enthusiast who loves Fords.

Factory 7, 15 Macquarie Place, Boronia - just near the intersection of Dorset Rd & Mountain Hwy.
