Someone just made me aware of what's going on over there Greg ... You guys are more than welcome here if you want.
Even with past history, it's sad to see it end up like that.

Jeez.... what a hard site to navigate and read

Looks like the sponsors have been shafted and a lot of the usual forums are missing or combined with a whole heap of other amercan stuff

New members always welcome here!

The old original ford forums site has been moved and combined into a US auto forum site.

Glad i made the move to ff.com.au ages ago _2:

Bit of a shame to see it like that, as it was a lot of our old stomping grounds

God knows what they were thinking but I'm sure the users weren't their 1st consideration. 800*600 screen res! Who uses that anymore?

He was American, the only thing keeping that site going was us Aussie's.... then AFF was born they all came here, he was left with very few members who actually posted anything.

No, it was a really good site back in the day.

This site was/is much better, but hasn't been around nearly as long.

At least ff.com.au caters/supports more for australians than US.

eg. dyno days, raids, drag days, AFD, etc, etc

So I guess by saying RIP to the old ff.com, at the same time we can also praise ff.com.au :

sort of brings a tear to your eye. the passing of fun, information, heated arguments and for myself, learning how the forums worked. i must admit though the admin here are a little looser, might have something to do with "the Aussie sense of humour".

John did sell it and one of the terms of the sale was to not tell anyone.
which I find ИИИИty.

I bet he made a ton of money off it. and I guess for him he is a smart businessman but he ИИИИИed a lot of people and burned a ИИИИload of bridges to make that money. I hope he feels better after making all that money.

Plus he is such a pussy he even changed all of his usernames on all of his forums to hide from the aftermath. what a CHUMP : : :

I don't really know anything about why he sold or what happened. I'm not definding him either but maybe he had enough and sold it for a good amount?. Everyone left and bagged the ИИИИ out of it, so why not sell at a good offer? That was the original FF and it was good in it's day...

I think the worst part is that the sponsors get burnt in the end (as far as I can tell). Selfish bastard.

Somehow I ended up a Chevy Moderator without even knowing it. It says so in my sig. I looked around the new site for 2 minutes before I deleted it from my favourites. They totally butchered that site. It sucked in the last 12 months anyway, so much better here.

I never even signed up to FF.com :|

This was the first ford forum I found, YONKS ago, but didnt sign up for a while.. then after reading for ages realised this is probably one of the best forums on the web as far as the people, intelligence, etc go.. so signed up and never looked back

Though i'm still more of a reader than a writer..

cliffs: No great loss, bye bye ff.com!
