Default Festiva enquiry

Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Looking at a Wb model festiva with a 5 speed manual in it, wife cant drive manual so what would the chances of a auto box being found or someone on here wanting to exchange their auto for a manual.

Nah how come you don't just look for an auto one? Don't know your chances of finding someone willing on here. What year is the car you're looking at?

Too easy bud

Nah my olds have one but its manual, and city driving a bit of a bugger plus she has had a auto one before and didnt do to bad, bit cheaper to run than the BA and bit more safer than the old sigma.
I think its round the 95's somewhere

When getting mine (99 mod), I was told the 1.3 was a 3spd and the 1.5 was a 4spd.

Would be heaps easier just getting an auto. Then again, the mazda 'bubble' 121 is meant to be identical under the skin, they also came in a 1.3 and 1.5 so that could be another option for sourcing a transplant box.
