Hay guys I got a 2.5 inch redback exahust on my au2 falcon 6cyl. It has just a muffler and no resinator. Now it sounds really good and everything but Im giving the car to my parents as im looking to get a new car. The problem is its preety loud and im wondering how do I make it sound like a stock exhaust again. Im thinking I could get a resinator but would that make much difference? Is it actually possible to get rid of the noise or would I need to install a stock exhaust system again.

instead of adding a resinator, fit another full muffler. Something like the Lukey Turbo muffler would be a good choice. Still fairly free flowing so you don't loose any or much of the power gained from fitting the freer flowing exhaust, but since it's not straight through (and zig zags like a standard muffler) it should be fairly good at muffling. Combine that with your current (presumably straight throgh) muffler and it shouldn't be very loud at all. Probably only louder when your actually booting it.
