Default Mondeo MY17.5 Active City Sensor Blocked

Hello,

Recently I have purchased a 15k Mondeo MY17.5 2.0T Trend.

It came up on the screen on the way home yesterday with - Active City Sensor Blocked.

Being as I didn't get any manual with the car in the glove box (not even sure I was meant to - do they even still print them lol), I am not really sure where that sensor is.

I am about to look at the online manual for my car on the owners page and see if I can find it but thought I would ask if anyone else has had this warning come up and what they did to fix? Is it just like cleaning a sensor out (leaf or dirt) or something else??

Thanks heaps, any help appreciated.

Can't remember if that is the one in the grill but I have had the sensors on the screen have issues in heavy rain.

When an error occurs it can often be cleared when you restart the car. Next thing would be to give the sensor area a clean and restart .
