Has anyone seen anything published anywhere? Wheels have just got the same times as an LX listed- I'm guessing they haven't actually tested one?

In the UK the Zetec S is ment to do 0-60mph in 9.9 seconds (This is like our zetec but with a ST bodykit) while others are ment to do it in 10.4.

And remember, 60mph doesnt exactly equal to 100kph. It's like 90something kph.

96.6 km/h If I'm not mistaken is 60 Mph. But I'd say with the new gear ratios it would be around high nines, most likeley low 10's though.

The 206 GTI was revised pricing wise - $29,990. December had a promotion making them $25,990 too!
The stats you have quoted are the GTi180

I'm sure you get a Mondeo 2L stuck in it for that, with mods.

You've got to be able to use the performance :P Just having the straight line sprint isn't what we (did) buy the Fiesta for! If you increase power, you want to be able to corner with that power too... and then you want seats to support you also.

lol fiesta seats just dont cut it !
The designers didnt take into account that about 30 young people in australia will be joining a euroford club and will be taking their fiestas through the old pac highway for some very very very spirited driving. BAHAHAHA reminds me of the time where my brother lucas was in the back seat and kept bitching that he was sliding sideways on the seat through corners...he should of been used to sliding sideways through corners, he owns two 200sx's

The drivers seat is ok (I like how you can adjust the bottom part of the seat) but the lateral support is a joke. For all the other seats id rather have a park bench than keep the stockies there just a massive joke

I find the Zetecs seats ok, as long as it's fully deflated...
The side bolsters could use a bit more padding but I tend to use my knee against the dash and the door to hold myself in place. As for slippery seats you should see the bench in the back of the corty after a dose of amourall!

: At all the 206Gti comparos.
On a day to day basis I'm sure the Fiesta would be easier to live with. On Froggy forums people are paying over $800 for servicings on the GTi's! The one dealer in Adelaide is a PITA to deal with (been there with my 306 S16 years ago...) Peugeot dealers also think it's OK for electrical switches to not work first go, and class it as "normal" for the ECU check light to come on intermittently. Parts are expensive and slow to arrive. I think you get the picture ;) They're bl**dy nice cars to drive (although they're rapidly losing the plot with each new model); but living with one on a day to day basis can be trying. Straight line performance isn't everything either.
