What is interesting from the article, is that since 2015 when the Mustang went global, it has now exported roughly 500,000 and is now available in 146 countries.
This certainly helped them reach the 10 million mark earlier than expected. In 2017, more than one-third of all new Mustangs were sold outside the US. The Mustang is now the second best-selling nameplate for Ford worldwide, trailing only the Ranger.
