Hi FF.
Had laughs at much lower levels so let's up the ante. MUST be new. No Classics we all love as that confuses things. I note a HSV for 240 thousand!! ps; I'll take the Bentley not the Commodore thanks Last edited by MercuryT; 21-05-2020 at 07:55 PM. |

Hmmmm. If 300k was in my daily acount and sustained, id be more leaning towards a big *** boat. Yeah a walk on mooring at a nice marina costs a bucket. But if it was a car, a new one, i dont mind the amg gt things. 300k it would probably need options.

I'm quite partial to the new BMW 7 series:
https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/det...18456869/?Cr=8 This is povvo spec model, I'd prefer something with more muscle under the hood but unfortunately with $300K its slim pickings with 7 series, the good stuff is on the wrong end of $400K I look forward to buying one in 2045 for $2000 |

Quite a difficult price point actually. $150k short to get into a Ferrari / Lamborghini / McLaren.
For $300k and having to be new, I think I'd go (in order of preference): E63 AMG Nissan GTR (Nismo?) Maserati Granturismo Audi RS5 Camaro ZL1 M5 KTM X-Bow

My tastes are for much bigger and more expensive.

Can you list some magazine times for $300k vehicles?
I mean I could pick something based on my personal preferences and the real-world experience of owners, but everyone knows it is the time recorded by a magazine nearly 20 years ago that counts most when making a decision like this. |

Ok.
People probable don't believe me and that's fine. Me mates Dad has a Porsche something (he's a ********) and bought a near 500K Porsche. In between him talking about his business and solariums, he said a GT3 or similar. Not sure if same car but yeah, I'd rather talk to a genuine Taxi owner than him. |

That is what people want and has been a successful business model for Porsche. If it isn't broke, don't fix it.

Have you researched Europe?
They have the vehicles I have, Rangers who really are just a school run in cool wagons. It's not a surprise other countries not as stupid as us to buy one. Tradies love them. Says it all as not an intelligent type. |
