check the switch is getting contact, and isnt burnt out. check u have voltage at the lights, check globes arent blown.
some headlight assemblys burn out at the globe, from excess heat over hours... but its odd both have gone. |

Check the relay. Just swap it with one of the other ones and see if it works.

had this happen to me a long time ago even had RACQ out to have a look, you will most probably find that it is one of you globes (low beam) if the high beam is still working what I was told is that you need both globes to be working to "complete" the circuit, not sure if that's true or not.

that doesnt sound right at all. sounds like ur road side assister is talking out of his ****. if one globe goes, the other isnt going to just break circuit.. think of the safety issues if one globe went down whilst travelling at 80km around a corner. If anything, i would say its an AS regulation that the lights be independant of each other. I see plenty of cars from all makes and models driving around with one headlight.
definately hit up the relay (dunno how i forgot that, possibly due to being half asleep in bed and posting). |

In the 4529789435 headlight bulbs i've changed on AUs, i've never, ever, ever, seen that happen.

Just last night I replaced the pass side H7 as the low beam had blown. Drivers side worked perfectly well. |

ive changed the realay the fuse the lights now and its all ok.
here is the strange bit i did a little trail and error and was freaked by the results. i put the platinums in one blown and one good turned them on did not work. then i put an old stockie on which was blown with a good stockie and the good one still worked. im thinking mabey its the bulbs them selfs that were like that. in anycase they are fixed now with stockies not that im happy as i realy wanted a different light.
