Some nutter might get a plane to NZ and do terrible things to the perpetrators.

Well it's improved over a regular HQ, that's all I can say. Sacrilege really, with that glorious Stang front & Windsor having to haul that back end around.
I like Chappy's comment on the 3news.co.nz site

they have done a lot of work and seem to have done it well
however with just a little more effort, they could have grafted a mustang shell onto it and made it look complete - and not to mention a major improvement on the base vehicle

I went to check the website link and it made my computer go crazy and open all these duplicate windows of the same website when I closed it. Did this happen to anyone else?

Used to be a known problem at IMDB.

They should have used an adapted Camaro nose to keep it in the GM family and to save wasting a Mustang!

I don't mind it, but I reckon they should've used a HK/T, or G Monaro rear end. Never gone much on the HQs.

But the whole idea of it was to upset Ford and Holden bogans.

I has a FORD engine and it won the race.......

I may be in the minority here, but that is a great effort, and a good looking car!

Funny that the red (or hot) side looks cold.

it is a great effort, but i cannot agree that it looks good (except from the front). in reality, it just looks like a holden - and not an attractive one at that
thankfully we had hq racing which got alot of those pieces of crap off our roads

I am not a fan, I do like the '69 Mustang a lot. This is sacrilege of both the HQ and the 'stang. The HQ is a good looking beast on its own, it didn't need this transformation.

Whilst I can appreciate the effort that went into making this...thing, its certain that effort isnt the only requisite for making something good. This abomination (for both the HQ and the Mustang) really does prove that point.
